• On a similar note, tomorrow the Talent Show dress rehearsals will be in the morning, so please come to school ready if you're participating.
• WEDNESDAY is the last day to turn in missing assignments. Please make sure your student is caught up- missing work notes for me went home today!

Happy Pi Day!

First of all, thank you to everyone who could make it for chapel- the kids did a wonderful job and engaged the rest of the school, teaching them about choosing the right path. Thank you for all of your work helping to prepare you student for our LAST chapel of the year.

Secondly, Emily and her mother brought to my attention the Summer Teen Program that takes place through PCC. It's for students 12-17 (though I'm sure 11 year olds can inquire), and there are a GREAT variety of classes available, from Science, to Test Prep, to Sports! Spots for these classes fill up quickly, so check it out at pcc.edu/community/teen for more info.

Hey all!

Quick reminders:

• Tomorrow is chapel day- please make sure your son/daughter has their costume prepared or is ready to dress in what they need for tomorrow. A few students will need hair/makeup work done, so arrival close to 8:10 would be a great help. Chapel begins at 8:45- hope to see you there!
• Progress Reports were due last week, and I still have a few stragglers! Please make sure you send back any signed progress reports asap. If you can't find the slip, a note would also be okay.

SPECIAL BIRTHDAY ANNOUNCEMENT- Happy Birthday to FAITHE MAHER, who turned 14 on Saturday!

Reminders:

• Thank you to everyone that helped their students with their Wizard of Oz chapel costumes. If you haven't done so already, please make sure they are brought in by TOMORROW. We need to make sure everything is ready for Wednesday. Because there are a lot of props and costumes, WE NEED YOUR HELP.
• Chapel Wednesday! This is probably Middle School's last chapel performance for the year, so if you can join us at 8:45, we'd love to see you there!
• This is a fast quarter, so make sure your student is caught up on missing work- notes went home today for 8/13 kids!

• A notice came home about donating to Missions March during chapel- please help your student bring change to donate this Wednesday!
• Book Orders came home today- they are due MONDAY the 12th.
• PROGRESS REPORTS went home last week and need to be signed and returned IMMEDIATELY. Your child may have gotten this put on a Missing work sheet that also went home today.
• Our class's chapel is NEXT Wednesday. Please help your student work on his/her costume.

Hi there! We hope you're looking forward to the wonderful, relaxing evening.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Progress Reports went home- you should make sure you have signed and returned the bottom portion.
• Our chapel presentation is in two weeks, and the students have chosen a Wizard of Oz theme. We have assigned roles, so please help your student come up with their costume! I am happy to help but cannot do everything, so if you have questions/ concerns, please email me at k.johnson@gaardechristian.com.
• There will be NO HOT LUNCH until further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but construction is taking significantly longer than anticipated. The school is working very hard to fix things quickly, so we appreciate for your consideration. There is still no microwave in use. Thank you!!!
