- We have a field trip and an outing this week- we will be headed to pick out a tree for the classroom on Thursday in the morning, but we will be back by lunchtime. FRIDAY, we will be going to the Festival of Trees! We will be gone most of the day, so PACK A SACK LUNCH. If you're interested in joining us/driving, please let us know by email or calling the school.
- Missing work slips go home on Mondays and need to be signed by Wednesday with all of the work turned in. Students have several opportunities during the week to see if they have missing work even before the slips go home, so beginning Wednesdays, they will have lunch detention if they are still missing work.
- Book Orders went home today, and they are PACKED! Please consider ordering Christmas presents through them- the deals are spectacular and they help contribute to our classroom library! They are due Friday, Dec 2nd.
- On the subject of books, we are still collecting new or gently used books for our school-wide book drive! Please clean out your bookshelves of unwanted books and bring them to class if you can. Thank you!

***Next week we will be having a class luncheon called An Afternoon in the Aristocracy. We will be making traditional colonial food and learning English etiquette. There will be tie-ins with Math and English, but the focus will be learning about how the colonies tried to simulate English Aristocracy with less supplies than they had before they came to the Americas. YOUR STUDENT is being asked to bring one supply- amounts will be specified- so that we can make these recipes. Please bring them by next Monday so we can gather the supplies we have left over and get them organized.
